The musical opens Saturday, May 7, at the university’s John Wright Theatre and continues through Saturday, May 14. (It was originally supposed to open May 6, but a non-Covid illness that went through the cast forced the cancellation of opening night. As of Saturday afternoon, the production is proceeding as scheduled.
This version of “RENT,” directed by J. Daniel Herring, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the original Broadway production.
