The format: Billed as “an evening of music, stories and laughter,” the series is inspired by the “In the Meantime” cabaret performances that marked Good Company’s transition back into the post-vaccination era. Add to that the sensibilities of Brunch, GCP’s celebrated improv group, which is known for its audience games and on-the-spot comedy.
The players: Sunday’s cast features Art Maldonado, Jessica Sarkisian, Brian Rhea, Laurie Pessano, Shawn Williams, Teddy Maldonado and Emily Pessano.
Why you should go: With that cast of musical and comedy veterans, it’ll be a chance to let loose and laugh before the work week starts. And, seriously, nothing beats live theater.
Upcoming: Shows are also scheduled for Sept. 26, Oct. 31 and Nov. 28.
The details: Tickets are $20. All visitors must have proof of vaccination and be masked.
