My first thoughts: It’s not the superstar lineup that Broadway in Fresno offered for the 2018-19 season, but I’m excited about “Waitress” making it here just a little over a year after the national tour played in San Francisco. You’ll notice there’s no “19” in the 2019-20 season; I’m hoping that another title will slip in for the fall. Else we have to wait eight months between “Something Rotten!” and our next Broadway engagement, and that just seems too long! My fingers are crossed.
