hat to do when you have a monthly arts talk show and you’re supposed to be two places at once?
You find a guest host.
That’s what I did for the December episode of “The Munro Review,” which premiered tonight on CMAC and is available for streaming on cmac.tv and YouTube. Veteran actor Terry Lewis fills in for me in the anchor chair while I report from the field.
The conflict was that my CMAC taping was scheduled for the same time as media night of “The Lion King.” I didn’t want to skip either, of course.
So Terry graciously agreed to step in as guest host.
Meanwhile, I have two stories on the show: an interview on location about Fresno State’s production of “Miss Bennet at Pemberley,” which opens Friday, Dec. 8; and a stand-up report from the Saroyan Theatre about “The Lion King,” which continues through Dec. 10.
Plus: Along with the usual features (Reviews and The List) from the studio, Terry welcomes Miguel Gastelum, Haley White and Amalie Larsen from The Fools Collaborative. As a bonus, Amalie sings a musical number to close out the show. Here’s the YouTube version:
